It’s Episode 29 of Magic Markets – Investing in Agri

Agriculture is a high potential sector not only in South Africa but globally too. Wandile Sihlobo is an expert on the agriculture sector in South Africa. He is the Chief Economist of the Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa (Agbiz) and has written numerous columns and blog posts in addition to his published book, “Finding Common Ground: Land, Equity, and Agriculture”.

Sihlobo is a member of the South African Presidential Economic Advisory Council. He has also served in roles at Stats SA and the International Trade Commission of South Africa.

In summary: there is nobody better to speak to about the agriculture sector in South Africa.

Listen in as The Finance Ghost and I discuss the Agri investment opportunity with Sihlobo. We touch on the strength of the rand and which parts of the value chain are most attractive to investors.
